Coastal landscapes and beaches of the Cotentin
From the silvery shores of Agon-Coutainville to the unspoilt dunes of Siouville-Hague, the beaches of La Manche offer an infinite palette of light. On the west coast, the harbour of Portbail captivates with its vast stretches of golden sand, ideal for sand yachting or a sunset.
Further north, the cliffs of the Nez de Jobourg overlook turquoise coves worthy of Ireland. Between flower-filled moors, marshes and hedged farmland, each walk reveals an authentic Norman landscape, inspiring painters, photographers and dreamers throughout the changing and captivating seasons here.
Mont-Saint-Michel and panoramic walks
World Heritage-listed Mont-Saint-Michel, a medieval jewel surrounded by quicksand, is just an hour's drive away.
From our gîtes, set off along the GR 223 and coastal paths for iodised hikes with grandiose, endless, magical panoramas.

Isabelle was very helpful with her recommendations. The accommodation is perfect, quiet and well laid out, in the middle of the Cotentin region (20/30 min from everything). The swimming pool is great for relaxing after a good day's sightseeing. A real favourite.

Very pleasant, comfortable, quiet gîte surrounded by a superbly tended garden. We were very well looked after by Isabelle who took the time to advise us on the surrounding area, which was very much appreciated.
Our stay in Grosville was phenomenal: Isabel is a wonderful hostess, we felt welcome at all times, any questions were quickly answered and the staff were extraordinarily attentive!
We were able to enjoy a magnificent garden and a well-oriented, peaceful terrace. It's a lovely place to recharge your batteries. Thank you to the owners for their warm welcome, their good addresses and their sound advice. We spent a week criss-crossing the region, discovering the Cotentin. We'd love to go back!
